Chapter 17: The Five Apocalyptic Knights
Day 23: Morning

“Whoa! 11:00 am! I’m gonna be late!”

Draco got dressed and immediately ran off to school. He made it at 11:23 am. There, class was in session.

“Hey Eagle.” called Death. “You look like you’ve seen a parade of black cats. What happened?”
“Argh… I’m just not feeling well today.” Eagle put a hand on his forehead.
“Perhaps we can help you. Maybe it’s homework.” suggested Phoenix.
“I’m not sure… Just please… Stop talking.” Eagle shooed them.

“Hey, Joshua. What’s wrong?” asked a concerned Sara.
“Nothing.”
“But you look like you’re sick today.”
“It’s nothing. Don’t worry about me.”
“Maybe you should see the nurse.”
“Sara, it’s nothing. Leave me be.”
“…” Sara just turned away.

Draco came into the classroom and sat down. He saw three of his friends, Atom, Eagle and Joshua, who didn’t look so good.

“Yo, Atom.” Draco called Atom.
“What?” groaned Atom.
“You okay?”
“No. Are you?”
“No.”
“How do you feel?” Atom slowly turned around.
“I feel dizzy… really dizzy.”
“Me too. Probably same goes for Eagle and Joshua.”

Meanwhile, on top of the school…

“At last… When the clock strikes twelve, the five knights are to arise one more time!” excitedly yelled a hooded girl.

The girl raised her hands up high and began reciting…

The dragon heart…
The Knight of Hyrule…
The Golden Warrior…
The Prince of the Zabels…
The Innocent Darkside…
Soul Edge, grant them transformation…
Grant them the power they all hold within…
Summon the five warriors…
The five ultimate warriors…
Night Dragon…
Nighthsade…
Hellion Eagle…
Messiah…
And Nightmare!!

Lightning struck the top of the school and the clouds gathered and swirled into a vortex.  At the eye of the swirling clouds, five rays of energy came down. A blue ray hit Draco, a white ray hit Atom, a black ray hit Joshua, a golden ray hit Eagle and a red ray hit Siegfried. The five began materializing armor around their bodies and only Draco, Eagle and Siegfried grew claws. The five then warped and reentered on the top of the building. Only to see a girl wearing a purple hood and a purple robe with a ring blade slung over her shoulder.

“What?! Who are you?!” Night Dragon furiously asked.
“It worked! I can’t believe it worked!” the girl removed her hood. She was actually Tira.
“You fool!” Messiah pointed. “Have you realized how happy this makes me to smite the world?”
“Of course. Do what you please, oh great ones.” Tira bowed before them.
“You are just a mere pawn for our creation.” Nightmare said.
“Wha… What?!” Tira asked.
“You have freed us from our prisons.” Hellion Eagle laughed. “And now you are just something to dispose of!”
“N-no! This is wrong! I summoned you here! Aren’t I supposed to be the ones controlling you?!” Tira took a few steps backwards.
“Control us?” Nightshade laughed. “Since when can a human such as you control us?”
“Indeed. Humans are weak. Weaklings must be disposed of.” Hellion Eagle walked towards Tira.
“DAMN IT!” Tira yelled.

She suddenly pulled her ring blade out and started hacking away at Hellion Eagle. Whatever she tried, her efforts were futile.

“I am impenetrable, human.” Hellion Eagle laughed. “You are useless!”
“Must we waste our time on this fool?” Night Dragon asked.
“Draco… No…” Tira looked at Night Dragon.

The five knights looked at each other and laughed.

“Draco? Who is this ‘Draco’ you speak of?” Night Dragon walked towards Tira.
“Enough talk! We must rid them all of this land!” Nightmare raised his Soul Edge phantom.
“Wait.” Night Dragon said.

Night Dragon then duplicated the phantom into four more clones and instead of that being a phantom, it became the true Soul Edge.

“Hahahahaha!” laughed Night Dragon. “Now this will be interesting!”
“Let us move, and let nobody live!” Messiah flew off.
“Attack!” Nightmare jumped off the bulding.

Nightshade and Hellion Eagle jumped off as well but Night Dragon looked at Tira one more time and laughed at her then jumped off.

“… What have I done? Have I overestimated myself? My goals were worse than I thought…” Tira regretfully whispered.
